... and she did.
Over the boy's head.
"Clean it up, and keep working." She said and smirked.
She cleaned her own cauldron and set the water to boil, then added the vinegar. "Now you put on your gloves and retrieve three leaves from the
Dransul plant. Take one of the leaves and crush it in your mortar until the acid from inside the leaves comes out. It should make about three drops of acid. Add them with a dropped and stir three times counter clockwise." She said demonstrating.
After adding the Elf wine vinegar to his potion the Gryffindor had turned to look forward at the Professor, waiting to see what was going to be asked of them next when she began to commend him on his good paying attention. Oh well, that comment could have been taking badly. At least nothing...
August then felt the warm contents of Professor Lafay's cauldren empty over his head; his dark curls matting down to his head and face and his robes getting soaked.
"P-P-Professor..." he started and just looked at her as if she had punched him in the face; might as well have. He didn't know what to say. He had NEVER been treated like that by anyone before, much less a Professor. He HATED her.
He cleaned up the mess around the floor that she had made and then tried to dry himself off the best he could; he unfortunately didn't know any drying spells. Now he had to continue with the rest of class like this. The Gryffindor was tempted to leave but then Lafay would win.
Walking forward, Auggie went and yanked leaves off of the plant like he was instructed and pulverized them angrily in his mortar. He then used the dropper from his potions set and dropped the acid secreated from the leaves into the potion and then stirred the three times in the counter clockwise direction.
