He grinned a crooked grin. "She'll probably say that I am too young to have a girlfriend," he said, trying not to laugh. It amused him to think of his mother's voice reprimanding him and treating him like a child. "But, I don't worry about it. When I was seven years old she thought riding a tricycle was dangerous." Yeah, she wouldn't even let him ride a bicycle because that was more dangerous than a tricycle. Seriously, moms.
Aurora nodded slowly,
"Oh... okay." Wow... he had such a lovely smile. Ever since he had said the word 'girlfriend' it had been like discovering everything she liked about him all over again... and again. It truly amazed her that no-one else seemed to ever have seen it - not that this bothered her - it meant she could have him all to herself.
"Really?" Oh goodness... if she thought Kennedy was too young then what would she think of Aurora?! Having an August birthday Aurora was among the youngest in the year... and she was in the year
below Kennedy.
"Well... I never rode a tricycle. Though if they're anything like training brooms..." Aurora shuddered.
"Yeah, brooms are dangerous. I prefer to have both feet firmly on the ground." she explained,smiling sheepishly.
