Hogwarts RPG Name: Glenn Reyes Fourth Year | Mandie sat down at the desk and unfurled some parchment some her bag along with: a dove feather quill and a small pot of black ink, the latter being placed back in the bag and her using the inks supplied.
Her quill hovered above the parchment for a few seconds while she thought about what she wanted to say. It wasn't as easy as muggle films made out writing heart felt letters.
Mandie finally decided on how to start the letter, it wasn't the best but it didn't matter too much besides, she hardly knew the girl. Mandie had met Glenn's mother a while back while doing an assignment for "Muggle Association" at University; Glenn's mother was a muggle. Glenn's mother, Elena, had told Mandie about Glenn getting her Hogwarts acceptance letter and Mandie had always meant to write but never got onto it. Quote: Dear Glenn,
I hope everything is fine at Hogwarts. You may not know me that well but I met your mother when I was at University.
I hope you don't find it too strange that I'm writing to you. You see, your mother told me about you not having many friends at Hogwarts and, as a former Hufflepuff myself I thought I should write to you and tell you not to worry. You'll make lots of friends in the years coming. I didn't make many friends until my third year at Hogwarts!
Just focus on school work at the moment. It may seem boring but if you get good right now you get to do lots of fun spells, I can turn my skin purple now! Though, please don't try that. The professor almost had a heart attack when I walked into class purple.
I don't particularly mind if you write back or not - I would understand if you don't. Just keep my advice in mind, I don't want you to feel left out of anything. Mandie paused. She wondered if it was acceptable to put love at the end of a letter to someone you hardly knew. She gave a mental shrug and did it anyway. Quote: Love,
Mandie Elliott Though not entirely satisfied with her letter, Mandie folded it into an envelope. She then got out a letter from Elena, Glenn's mother, although this one was written on lined paper with (presumably) a pen and folded it neatly into another envelope.
Mandie placed the pot of ink she'd been using away on the shelf and placed her quill into her bag and stood up and head over to the service desk.
