He didn't have anything that was valuable, except his Pygmy Puff, whom was a living thing, so he probably save her.

He raised his hand and said, "I'd take my Pygmy Puff," he said. Yep, because he always had his wand tucked inside his sock. Would Aurora count? She wasn't a thing, oh gosh no, and they didn't share dorms, so that was probably out of the question, but if that did happen, Aurora would be the first person he'd save.
