Lily was finally prepared for Hogwarts, she had her first wand, her robes, and loads of sweets next to her right side in her compartment. She thought she could save them for later. Lily was in deep thought, until someone came in. She had a red face, pigtails, and yellow robes, probably a Hufflepuff. ''Hello! you must be a first year! can I sit here everywhere is loaded if you don't mind of course!'' She offered kindly with geniue smile. ''Sure'' Lily accepted and the bubbly girl sat across her. ''So, whats you're name? My name's Hannah Abott, third year! and of course you're in first year?'' Lily nodded, the sweets caught Hannahs eye ''Oh do you mind if-'' Lily cutted her off ''Yea go ahead.'' Lily smiled at the girl trying to be kind. ''Oh, I forgot to tell you, I'm Lillian but you can call me Lily.'' Lily didn't want to show her family name incase she would get bullied from where she came from.

''Lily? Malfoys little sister?!'' Hannah squeaked as her eyes widened, ''Yea..'' Lily said quietly feeling embarrassed. ''Oh don't feel ashamed, it's alright, you're brother has been saying bad things about you, I'm sure you're not surprised I wouldn't be either.'' Lily liked this girl! she wasn't judgemental. ''So what house do you want to be in?'' Hannah asked curiously, ''I don't know, but not Slytherin you know.'' Explained Lily, maybe Hufflepuff. No no! her parent's would hate her forever! but it seemed like a great house.

''I hope you get in Hufflepuff, it's a great house!the food's delicious, everyones nice because of the traits it holds.'' Hannah explained, of course she knew what qualities every house in Hogwarts valued. ''But as much as I would like to be in that house Hannah, I doubt I'd be sorted in it, I mean my family has been getted sorted into Slytherin for centuries.'' Lily whined but made sure didn't irritate Hannah. ''Well, you can't be in Slytherin if you're too nice, and the sorting hat will look in you're prefences. It's not like it's impossible for Muggleborns to be in Slytherin but it's on rare occasions.'' Hannah explained making Lily better.

Suddenly the train stopped, the window looked freezing, ''What is that?!'' a voice screamed. Lily nor Hannah didn't know what was going on. Hannah stayed still shaking but not suddened movements. The lights flickered and went off the train was all dark, a sick feeling began to rise in Lily's stomach, it sounded like a dementor. She knew the spell, but she couldn't cast a patronous she was only in first year. Suddenly a dementor was sucking up Hannah's soul. Lily whipped out her wand, and closed her eyes. ''PATRONOUS!!!!!'' Lily saw a wolf burst out and a light, she didn't know she could do a Patronous Charm. The lights went back on.

A sign of relief filled Lily and Hannah. ''That's amazing!'' exclaimed Hannah, amazed. ''Thanks'' Lily said feeling more confident.
