Jory asked sure he had interpreted her expression correctly.
"Its done,'' Jory replied noting Gwen hadn't even looked over at the cauldron which still had steam rising from it. "Its just got to cool now. Do you have lots more to do?'' Jory thought he'd might wait on Gwen until she was done.
Placing her quill down, Gwen raised her eyes from her notebook as Jory started talking.
‘Nothing’, she replied curtly, and a bit to rapidly. No one could ever believe her… Then, realizing how odd she had been acting, she bit her lip, trying not to say anything stupid…again.
‘Um.. yeah. I don't still have that much to do...-‘, she begann saying and stirred 3 times counter-clockwise.
‘You don’t need to wait up for me’, the ravie told Jory, while stirring once clockwise.
Really- I’m not that nice to you, you don’t have to be nice to me either…
Oh good- the potion finally started having a grey-ish colour.
‘And finally- allow it to sit for 7 and ½ minutes’, she mumbled, looking at the watch. While waiting for the potion to be ready, Gwen searched for a bottle, on wich she wrote:
‘Deflating Draught. Gwendolyn Greene’ There. Almost done.
