Thank you!

I feel like after writing my other story, which is finished so I feel kinda empty, that my writing has improved!
Lindsey smirked as she saw a dummy rise out of the space.
An easy opponent! She thought, still smirking. She thought about what she would do first, wanting to impress her friends badly, and she released her hold on her energy, letting it course through her veins like blood, burning her, but not so it hurt, it actually gave quite a good feeling. She held her hand up, pushing the energy to her hand and released it. She watched the fireball fly at the dummy, and grinned as it was blown to smithereens. She liked the feeling of fire inside her. People may say she was a pyromaniac, but it just felt good. Really good. She smiled at the others as they clapped and laughed at their dumbfounded expressions. But she sought out Dennis' eyes, and found no fear, just awe and excitement. He caught her eyes, and she looked away, blushing. She heard him snicker and turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow. He stopped laughing quickly, knowing that that look meant for him to shut up.
'Can you call Hilee?' he asked quickly, changing the never-spoken subject. Everyone started to ask who Hilee was, but no-one answered them, as she tried to summon her fiery friend.
'Hilee! Come!' Nothing. Ah, second time?
'Hilee! Come!' she called in her other voice, beaming at what she saw. A burst of flame and Hilee was rearing in the air, before landing firmly on the ground. He bounded up to her and nuzzled her hand in greeting. She grinned and smoothed the Heliopath, looking towards the others for their reactions. Surprised wouldn't cut it.
'Your Heliopath?' Holly breathed. Lindsey nodded and laughed at their faces, but Dennis grinned, and got up, having met Hilee before, and smoothed him. The others still looked somewhat reluctant. Lindsey shook her head in an amused fashion.
'Come on! He won't bite!' Lindsey laughed. No-one moved except Holly, who got up and walked slowly over to them. 'Where are we, Mars? Come on, bit faster!' Lindsey said, rolling her eyes. It's not like he was going to hurt them! Oh. Yeah, that's why they were worried! 'He won't burn you, only if he feels threatened or I tell him to will he do that!' Lindsey assured Holly. Holly nodded and walked over quickly, getting over her fear of Hilee.
'Hey, boy...' Holly smiled, as she reached her hand out and smoothed him. Her smile escalated into a beam as Hilee nuzzled her. The others got up and ran over, giving Hilee the attention he so loved.
'He's so-' Kate started.
'Lovely!' Leyla beamed.
'Careful now, you'll give him a big head!' Lindsey laughed.
'Hilee! Leave!' she commanded, and the Heliopath reared into the air again and burst into flames. 'Loves to make a big entrance and exit that one does.' Lindsey explained, smiling as the others laughed. 'Righty, then! I'm gonna try something Harry's never had me try before!' Lindsey beamed, watching the others go to sit down, grabbing towles as they went by. She smiled to herself and flet the fire corse through her again, pushing as she felt it go. She opened her eyes and saw a person shaped fire shield had been created. I she closed her eyes and looked deep into her mind, looking for a certain place, and finding it. She smiled as she found it, before tweaking the shield in her head, making it large and square. She opened her eyes and the shield had changed to meet her requirements. She closed her eyes again and tweaked it so she was surrounded in fire, where she felt safe. Safe from everything she needed to escape. Which was nothing at the moment, but it made her feel alive. She looked at the others, who were looking scared and rolled her eyes. How could they be scared of fire? But then she saw Dennis' eyes, which made her realize that she was probably going a bit too far. She sighed and closed her eyes, opening a hole. She felt someone place their hand on her shoulder and she opened her eyes to see Dennis looking at her.
'Come on, ma cherie, put it out, you're losing yourself.' Dennis said softly. Lindsey raised an eyebrow at him so he continued. 'Your hair and eyes are on fire.' he added, and she chuckled. So that was why they were looking at her like she was a mass murderer.
'Sorry.' she smiled apologetically, before lifting her hand and rotating it in a circle, each bit of fire she pointed at going out immediately. Lindsey sighed and allowed her hair and eyes to calm down.
'Holy Quaffle, Lindsey, you scared us!' Nick yelped.
'Terribly sorry, but that's part of going loco, I guess...' she muttered.
'So that's what you were like when you kidnapped Dennis?' Tom asked. Lindsey chuckled lightly, and let Dennis answer.
'No, she had fire armour and a flaming sword held to my throat!' Dennis said, looking down at her. 'Why did you do that, by the way?'
'I was startled! I had gone mad and you tried to bloody hug me, what sort of person does that?' she said angrily. She hadn't been able to help it. She couldn't help that she could produce fire and such. It wasn't HER fault! It was stupid Godric Gryffindors!
'What started it?' Nat asked softly, seeing Lindsey's eyes flash dangerously towards Dennis, and knowing that if someone didn't step in she was going to get angry. Which wouldn't be good.
