As soon as the professor started talking, Lana ceased hers and paid attention. Dots? She walked over to the one next to Desiree and shot her an apprehensive look. She still wasn't sure what the class was about. She just wasn't paying close enough attention.
Name a dance move?! Merlin's Beard. Today is about dancing?! Lana wished she could leave. Dancing just wasn't her cup of tea. She figured it'd be rude if she just left, so she decided to stay. The professor seemed nice, so she didn't want to hurt her feelings. Now as for a dance move. Lana spent a minute or so trying to remember that silly dance move her brother used to do when he was just being goofy. What did he call it? What did he call it? When it came to her mind, Lana raised her hand and waited for the professor to call on her.
"Professor, have you heard of the Tarantula Roll?"
Desiree grinned at her friend as she gave her a hug "Lanaa! It's so great to see you! it just.. not been fun without you." she whispered and laughed quietly, sticking her tongue out back at her. It was great to have her friend back. She had really missed her when she was gone with that scale problem.. yaa she felt pretty bad about that. really, really bad.
As they walked towards to the dots she saw Lana's look, she didn't seem too excited for dance class, Desiree shot her a similar look, but tried to give her a small smile and a shrug, as though trying to say that it could be kinda fun.. maybe.
Honestly though Desiree was a little nervous, she had never actually danced before, so she wasn't sure how this was going to turn out.. and they weren't even wizard dances, they were muggle dances, well obviously it was muggle studies. But she had no idea what these dances were, the disco.. the salsa.. square dancing.. and the pencil, really? what was
that? So she just kept quiet and listened hoping to hear something she recognized.
