It looked much harder than it actually was in reality.
But then, by the mere posture of her best friend, she could tell that something was wrong. When she cautioned Selina not to get mad Selina put her hand on Kurumi's shoulder, "Hey I promise I won't get mad-" Why did she have to bring up Simon? He was a sensitive subject for Selina and he was even more of a hard topic now that she and Gideon had...were...well she was still figuring out that one. Although that did not make Kurumi's words sting any less, "Yeah I know what you mean. Who do you like and why is it such a problem for you to tell them...?" She started to rub her friends back to make her feel better until it finally stopped sharply, "Wait... we aren't talking about Adam Burn are we?" She still didn't trust him.
Kurumi's eyes widened a bit and she squeaked. "N-N-Not exactly," she said shaking her head back and forth so quickly that it was a wonder the poor thing didn't get whiplash. Although, she couldn't deny that she still felt something for him. He was, after all, her first friend in the wizarding and her first friend in general. There was a lot of emotions tied to him - both positive and negative. "
Although, we are sort of on speaking terms..."
She peeked up at Selina.
Remember, you promised you wouldn't get mad...
"
I've...been confused since her left though, and you know better than anyone else that I am utter rubbish when it comes to these things. I didn't even know that Connor liked me until he went screaming through the corridors that he loved me." Which still gave her the creeps to be honest. "
Then there was the mess with Treyen where I was so sure that he was returning my feelings...only to find out that he felt nothing of the sort...and, well...there are two guys..." She buried her face in her hands, more out of embarrassment than anything else. Her cheeks were on fire at the moment.
