"But...I know you understand how it feels...to like someone but be afraid to tell them...or even think that you SHOULD say something to them." She hugged her knees to her chest and rested her head on her knees.
Selina watched her friend fold into a pretzel and put her head on her knees. There was no way that Selina could have pulled that off. Until she realized that all she had done was pull her legs into her chest, that was much less impressive than actually folding herself into a pretzel. That pose her friend was holding was deceitful. It looked much harder than it actually was in reality.
But then, by the mere posture of her best friend, she could tell that something was wrong. When she cautioned Selina not to get mad Selina put her hand on Kurumi's shoulder,
"Hey I promise I won't get mad-" Why did she have to bring up Simon? He was a sensitive subject for Selina and he was even more of a hard topic now that she and Gideon had...were...well she was still figuring out that one. Although that did not make Kurumi's words sting any less,
"Yeah I know what you mean. Who do you like and why is it such a problem for you to tell them...?" She started to rub her friends back to make her feel better until it finally stopped sharply,
"Wait... we aren't talking about Adam Burn are we?" She still didn't trust him.
