Well...maybe that was because it was a bit too abstract for him, so maybe he did know why, but still. You would think that that would be interesting but for some reason the subject just didn't do it for Adam. When Louisa listened to Adam's explanation, nodding and responding somewhat thoughtfully, Adam could tell she was just being polite, but that's alright. Everyone was entitled to their own opinion...Perhaps Adam could start presenting the game to her in such a way that she could start to gain some interest in the sport. It would definitely take some work, but it was worth a shot!
"Yeah, I met her at a restaurant in Diagon Alley this summer," Adam said with a little nod of the head. "She's really nice, and very passionate about Quidditch but not in the crazy way that the previous Captain was," Adam said, biting his lip. He had never met the dude so honestly he couldn't say whether or not the guy was obsessed or just devoted, but he would take Louisa's word for it. When she mentioned that Louisa was actually cheering for her friend on Hufflepuff Adam chuckled. "Needless to say when Ravenclaw plays against Gryffindor I'm going to be in a bit of a sticky situation with the whole cheering thing." After all Adam had several friends on Gryffindor's team, mainly Adam his name twin. He noticed that Louisa hadn't mentioned Vashti at all, and he furrowed his brows slightly. "So...I take it you and Vashti haven't spoken at all since the dungbomb incident?" Adam asked quietly in case others were listening or something.
"
I guess you're right. On the other hand, I attend games few times a year to try and see what the fuss is about." Chuckling at her own siliness, "
Also the castle is scary when all students and staff are here." Uh-huh. Being alone in a castle with ghosts was thrilling, even if you are a Hogwarts student.
"
Oh? That sounds good. I see her in the common room and in classes a lot. She does seem nice." And maybe Louisa was just taking Adam's word for it. For all Louisa knew, the captain was a friend of Vashti... that wasn't so appealing to the fourth year girl at the time being.
Speaking of Vashti, "
No." She replied to Adam shortly, averting her gaze to the pitch and watching some people getting it ready. In fact, she'd almost messed up Vashti's relationship with Anakin by telling him about her having her love-potion when they went out on their date. That wasn't about to slip out of her tongue to Adam, though. Not when she couldn't sleep with guilt that night, and not when she was deeeeeep within attending this match to watch her ex-best friend playing like she always forced herself to do.
