Eino nodded and chuckled. That seemed to be the safe response for everything. Nothing could go wrong with a simple nod and smile, right? He would love another excuse to spend more time with Sierra, he just didn't know if he would be able to throw a snowball at her. "I would be honored." What in the name of Merlin was that? Alex... from Hufflepuff? "Oh my buttons, I do know an Alex from Hufflepuff!" Eino exclaimed after hearing Sierra's story, which confused him a little, but he didn't want to be nosy and ask questions. As for the boy, he did know him, maybe not the same one, but he knew an Alex from Hufflepuff. He had met him last year, during Astronomy lesson. "Sounds like a complicated family..." He commented nervously. He had his own share of complications within his family, but he hadn't told that to anyone yet, not even that his real name wasn't Eino Uronen. He felt like he was lying to everyone, but most importantly to himself. He hoped that if he continued to pretend he was Eino he would be Eino, not knowing he wouldn't change just by acknowledging his real identify.
"Oh, yes... A stick will work." Eino said as he snapped out of it and turned his attention to Sierra. After the bottom was completed he began to work on a different snowball for the snowman's middle part. "This one should be a tad smaller, then we put it on top of it and smooth it out." He told her as he continued to build it.
Sierra reached over and shoveled a pile of snow toward her. She worked on building the middle ball as she glanced up at Eino with a smirk. Did he think she'd just let him pelt her with a snowball? Oh, no. What she meant was
she'd chunk them at Eino while dodging all of his. Then again, from what she'd heard, they were now both beaters. If that was the case, he'd probably have no trouble swatting a snowball away from him.
"Oh, my buttons?" she repeated and laughed. She playfully shook her head at his choice of words. Then he mentioned how complicated her family seemed, and it caused her smile to fade just a little.
"It can be, but only when my mother gets involved," she explained.
"When it's just the three of us," ...
"my father, his girlfriend, and I, things are lot easier. If only it was always that way..."
She pushed her snow onto the part Eino was already building.
"So what color will the scarf and hat be?" she asked. Of course it should be green and silver, but...would Eino go for that? She normally wasn't very giving, but she supposed she could deal with a green and blue combination.
