"Hello Harlow, and how are you doing this fine winters day?"
It really was a fine day, perfect for playing in the snow.
She laughed lightly as Harlow remarked on Professors playing in snow. Why wouldn't they? It was so much fun.
"Well I can't speak for the others, but I for one, love it!... it's far too much fun to miss out on." And there was no way she was going to keep herself holed up in her office or in the castle. Not unless hell freezed over. Pun intended.
"Oh help would very much be appreciated. I'm not very good at building snowmen... are you?"
It was nice to have Professor Bentley rubbing her back, just like her mom used to do. It made her homesick a little.
"I'm ok. did you see me in Saturday for the quidditch game? I got to play and those Gryffindors were really playing hard." she nodded.
"And we won." she bounced a little at the announcement.
Harlow nodded,
"Snow is so fun. And its all white." And it was clear she loved white.
"Its like its a blanket that just cleans up everything that dies during the fall and makes it ready for the springtime so everything can grow again." Thats why she loved winter time and snow so much.
She clapped her hands,
"Yes ma'am. Though they always tend to be small like me. Because I'm not very big." she explained. Just in case Professor Bentley thought all first years were as small as Harlow.
Harlow looked at the new girl,
"Hi. I'm Harlow." she introduced.
