"I always offer them a choice Marie. They don't have to tell me if they don't want to." And the only help she gave anyone was to be there for them. To let them vent, talk or ask for advice. Mia still couldn't see how that was a bad thing. Was Marie regretting talking to her about her problems. She kept bringing it up so maybe she was.
Mia heaved a deep sigh. She was starting to hate Lafay for seeting this homework.
"Do you hate me because I know things about people? That I know things about you? Because I would never tell anyone." Obviously Marie didn't realise that she knew something about Mia that she wanted to keep a secret.
