The sun was blazing over the lake, and the majority of students were out in their shorts and skirts, lapping up the rare sunshine. It was no different for best friends, Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil.

"Lav? Lav? ....Lav?" It took a few attempts, but Lavender eventually snapped out of her trance. "What are you gaping at?" Parvati quizzed.

Lavender didn't even need to say anything. She looked over to a ginger haired boy sitting across the grass, but as soon as her eyes laid on him again, back into that daze, she became.
