Sabel froze. Everything just...froze.
His eyes fell on the wands beside him. He couldn't understand. He couldn't fully comprehend it. Sure, before he had been so fed up he didn't care if he lost his job, but faced with the reality of it....it was beyond him.
"What.....did you want me to do?" His voice came quietly, unsteady. "I....I'm doing what you asked me to do. I'm...not arguing with you. I'm listening to you!" His eyes snapped up to the man he had trusted, the man that had been close to him. "What more do you want?! All of you?! What do you bloody want from me?!" He did one thing, he got hit. He did the opposite, it was still wrong.
