She shouldn't complain though, she had known what the place was like before she stepped foot in here. Mia looked around the pub again and could see that Mina was right. There were only a handful of people in here. "I'm quite glad that there's not that many people in here to be honest. As big as Hogwarts is, it's always difficult to find a quiet spot."

Mia brought the glass back to her lips and watched Mina over the rim of her glass for a moment before taking another sip and gently placing the glass back onto the table. "Understandable really. With only six months of school left. I think most of us are feeling the pressure of our last year." Yes even she was feeling it. Not so much the work because she wasn't particularly concerned whether she knew enough magic or not and what she was going to do after school because she already knew. But she was worried about losing touch with her friends.

"But I'm figuring that's not the only thing you're worried about." She gave the Ravenclaw an encouraging smile as she ran her finger around the rim of her glass. "It's amazing how that we're now of age now. We're about to enter the adult world, we're supposed to be all mature like and yet we're as angsty as ever." She let out a small laugh and leaned back in her chair. Mia was remembering her moments of angst. Only no one at Hogwarts would ever be able to say they had seen it. Only Nik had been given that unpleasant experience.
Glancing down at the glass, Mina made a face. The place was NEVER going to get a five-cauldron rating that was for sure. It wasn't anything like The Three Broomsticks or Puddifoot's. Those places were always packed and sometimes, you just wanted somewhere less crowded and where you could hear yourself think. "I'm overjoyed it's not swarming with everyone and their friends. You can actually hear yourself without talking loudly." Yeah, the place wasn't the happiest place to grab a drink; but it was quiet. "I'm starting to think that I'll just keep coming here instead of Broomsticks." Seriously, there was less of a chance for her to see people here and she appreciated that at the moment.

Mina sighed. When she boarded the train months ago, she had a plan for where her head would be and it wasn't even close to being there. It completely aggravated her that she hadn't been able to focus on what she wanted to. She never thought she would be anything like this in her last year. Maybe she had always been fooling herself about just how her last year would go. "You know, I always imagined our seventh year to be different." She never imagined making the friends she had made or doing the things that she had done. It was a surprise to her that in nearly seven years, so much had happened and how changed everything was now.

Shrugging a shoulder, Mina frowned. She knew that she needed to talk about it and Mia didn't strike her as the type that would go off and tell what she was about to say. They weren't close friends by any means, but they were civil and Mina thought her to be a friend still.

"It's all kind of coming to an end. In a few months, things won't matter to us like they do now. I mean we're all going to be going our own way and things will probably change forever." Mina wasn't foolish, she knew that she would probably never see some of her friends after they left Hogwarts. Their lives were all going in different directions now.

Hearing Mia laugh, Mina creaked a smile. "You know angsty doesn't even start to describe most of us." Angst was one thing that was not lacking in their year for sure. "You know the real reason, I came in here?" It was safe for her to talk about it. What happened wasn't going to define her forever. "Back a few years ago, the last time I was in here. I met a man. A misunderstood man. He wasn't completely evil but he cursed me. I'm here today to face that demon once and for all." Remi was locked away but the pub represented what happened to her and she wanted to rid the pub of blame in her mind before she left Hogwarts once and for all.

*face palm*

So, here she was...breaking away from the small group they'd assembled. Didn't her ex know how uncomfortable he made most situations for her? She didn't even have her bf-heater anymore. Carter would wonder where she'd gotten off to, the blonde was sure...but she couldn't be in Rafe's presences one moment longer.

Walking into the Hog's Head, Marilyn spied two people she hadn't expected to.

Mia...who wasn't that bad, really. Since Mar had befriended Cassie, the Hufflepuffs weren't as annoying...

Mina!

Marilyn's eyes narrowed. She didn't think she'd get so upset upon seeing her...So, her immediate anger took her by surprise. There was A LOT she needed to say to this girl.

No time like the present.
Just as Mina finished talking, she noticed the entrance of someone and her eyes narrowed slightly. So much for this being a place she could get away.

She really didn't want to deal with Carter's girlfriend. She had given them the space and seriously, she hadn't ever intended on talking to them again.

Looking to Mia, she shook her head. "You know that something a bit stronger than a butterbeer would be great right now."
