She sipped her drink after the little toast and relaxed a little more. It was nice not having children underfoot for just a moment or two. Or so she told herself.

Why hadn't he expected that to be the first thing on her list?It was always the first time on everyone's list, no matter if they were single or married. "Relationships. Fun" Dash really couldn't help being sarcastic. It was like it was etched into his brain, somewhere close to whatever told him to be a jerk. He ignored the second one and gave her a soft smile. "Alright. So tell me. Why have your relationships been less than perfect?"

Metal. Sharp. Dash shivered a bit. "Alright. I could never do that." He'd admit it. The man had a thing where if he was going to get hurt he wanted to know when before it happened. It sounded stupid, but the fact that the metals were so unstable would make him feel uneasy. "How bad has someone gotten hurt- from working with some metals?"

He grinned, a giant one. There was no need to get another Althea raging again. He would annoy her another day. He had to space everything out. "Possibly. The real point though, is isn't it yours?" Didn't SHE think she was all strong and could do anything? Hehe.
