Isobel rubbed her eyes, willing herself not to cry. But this hurt. This really hurt. Armen has promised he wouldn't hurt her like Evander had, but here he was doing exactly that. She was kind of angry. She should've known that Armen would hurt her all along. He was in the cult for goodness sake. She'd been so stupid. She sighed, rubbing her eyes. She couldn't stay here any longer. She was getting angry, and she really did not want to hurt him. That would not be good.

"Okay." There was nothing else she could say about it, and she was not going to beg him to change her mind. She wasn't that low. "Good luck Armen....because we are now clearly on opposite sides." She turned to walk out the door, but paused for a second. "I shall collect my stuff from your apartment later." And then she left his office, heading back to Level 2.
