Looking over across the way, Cael felt marginally bad to see the sleepy face of Nate emerging from his bed with a confused look. He hadn't wanted to wake the other boys up, but Merlin, Scott had scared the nifflers out of him with that little stunt.
"Sorry 'bout that Nate," he called softly, "but Rowe here was either trying to hex me or crawl in bed with me. Neither of which I appreciate in any way," he growled giving Scott a pointed look.
"I think it'd be best if you slept in your own bed, don't you Scott?" Merlin, couldn't he just leave him alone?
"Oh, alright. It's fine. Now I'm up though and couldn't fall asleep soon if I tried," he said flatly. He could never fall asleep after waking up in the middle of the night. "I do second the idea of sleeping in our own beds, though. They're designed for one," he said, quietly adding, "Unless, of course, you're over here from the girls' dorm but I doubt that'll happen..."
