Nate had been half-awake for a while now, but had not really caught on to what was happening. Then he recognized one of the voices as Cael's. He was being offered a cuddle? "What's going on, Cael?" he asked drowsing from his own bed, pulling open his own curtains just enough to see clearly out of.
Looking over across the way, Cael felt marginally bad to see the sleepy face of Nate emerging from his bed with a confused look. He hadn't wanted to wake the other boys up, but Merlin, Scott had scared the nifflers out of him with that little stunt.
"Sorry 'bout that Nate," he called softly,
"but Rowe here was either trying to hex me or crawl in bed with me. Neither of which I appreciate in any way," he growled giving Scott a pointed look.
"I think it'd be best if you slept in your own bed, don't you Scott?" Merlin, couldn't he just leave him alone?
