38. Patronus

“What in the name of Merlin’s hat is that!” he barked pointing at the silvery figure which paced in circles around them. Emily rolled her eyes. “It’s an African Wild dog, what does it look like?” she was being sarcastic, but obviously Xavier hadn’t caught on.

“It looks bloody ugly to me, that’s what,” he retorted, his face scrunched up as if he could smell troll.

Emily scowled. Who was he to judge her patronus. Sure deep down she knew it wasn’t the best looking creature in the world, but there was something dangerously charming about it which she liked.
