It was just too excited and it was thinking about how Nessie had made the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and also she had become the youngest Hufflepuf Herald Editor in the common room. If only she didn't have stupid silly homework.
Ness shook her head trying to focus back onto her homework...not that it helped her mind kept on thinking about other things.
If anyone knew Shannon long enough, they'd know that he had a problem with falling asleep at the most inopportune times. In class, on short car rides, working on homework; the only time he DIDN'T fall asleep was at meal time. He loved his food far too much to even dare fall asleep during meal times. It was for this reason that Shannon was constantly changing his location for his homework and study time. Changing locations seemed to help just slightly with the whole falling asleep problem. But it definitely didn't solve it.
Books in tow, Shannon was headed to the gazebo where he hoped he was able to accomplish a fair amount of homework. Upon entering the gazebo Shannon saw a younger Hufflepuff he had seen in passing before in the Common Room but had never gotten the chance to talk to her.
"Badger minds must think alike." He commented as he sat down near her and spread his books out in front of him.
"This must be the place for the badgers to do homework now, eh?" He chuckled.
