Amelia and Zayden had gone through all the baby books that they had bought, and there wasn’t one name in any that she had actually liked. So she was taking matters into her own hands, using Zayden’s dictionary. Which he failed to understand, but he let her use anyway just to humor her.

“Any nice names, Amelia?”

“How about… Cinnamon?”

“No.”

“Sparkle?”

“Nuh huh. Makes me think of Twilight.” Way too many bad memories associated with that series.

“Rainbow?”

“They’re pretty, but no.”

“Cupcake?”

“OMG! We have to name her Cupcake.” No, he was not failing like a little girl.
