"Thanks," he said quietly with a smile. And he meant that in the most sincere way possible. He had loved the song, and he loved that she had played and sung it for him. "That was... really good."

Singing the song for Dallin was definitely nerve-wracking, mostly at first. But once she got started, she remembered why she was doing this and that Dallin loved her, and that seemed to make all the nerves go away. It was just her, Dallin and the piano. And Ellie was feeling extremely corny, but she loved it.

When she was done, and Dallin took one of her hands in his, Ellie looked up at him and smiled. Moving her other hand to meet with his, she stroked his hand with her thumb. "You're welcome." Ellie replied quietly and just looked at his blue eyes. The word, thanks was so simple, but it really meant a lot to her, coming from him. "You really think so? I was nervous.." She said, again quietly.
