..or not.

Louisa huffed when the teacher finished, waited for her partner to get the mirrors and then spoke, "Okay. Stay still." Grabbing a brush from the paint kit, a red one, and passed it on Ryden's left cheek in a shapeless line. Another one on the right cheek. Then came the green brush; a circle here and another one on the other cheek. Next was a yellow color; a triangle on the girl's forehead. Lastly, the blue brush which painted Ryden's whole chin.

Louisa moved away squinting her eyes at Ryden thoughtfully. Hmm. Not bad. For a person who had artistic skills next to nothing. "Done. Used the colors of four houses." Yep. She took a mirror and put it in front of the girl, "See? Nothing's silly." No. Just bad and awful.
Psht. Stay still. Like she had a choice. If she could run out of this lesson right now, she would and WOULDN'T look back. So she sat still until Louisa finished, and the blinked as she moved away before snatching the mirror and gaping at herself.

OH. MERLIN.

Ryden squeezed her eyes shut, averted the mirror before opening them to glare at Louisa. It wasn't really her fault... but she wanted someone to glare at. "Your turn," she growled and all but shoved the girl down into the chair.

RIGHT. Erm. RED lipstick - Bridget once showed her how to put it. It didn't look TOO bad on Louisa... just a little smudged. NEXT. Brushes. Picking up the blue brush, Ryden painted two circles on the younger girl's cheeks, then using the green brush, painted her whole forehead and chin. THERE. That looked... sealike, or something. With a final touch, Ryden painted Louisa's nose red.

Fantabulous.

"Here, take a look, bask in my awesome skills and let's move on," Ryden said offhandedly, shoving a mirror into Louisa's face and trying VERY HARD not to think about how she looked.
