That would just be really hard.

Sigh.

Well, if that's how it is then maybe Jonathan should just deal with it. Besides, his one of the guys who came in early. "Jonathan" he introduced himself to Nikolas. He doesn't seem to know him or the other Slytherin guy but he does see them a lot around.

Yes. He knows what are the types of dances. he's just afraid that they might be doing something really difficult. Which would really suck. And Jonathan laughed lightly when she suggested he'd teach. "I'm not an expert" he shook his head to the girl. Not at all.
Charner's eyes went back to Sir-Likes-a-Dance, aka Johnathan, and a sudden grin sprung up onto her expression. It was almost conspiratory as she leaned towards him, as if ready to share a secret. "Who says any of the teachers are experts in their subjects either?"

With a tap to her nose, she leaned back. "You just gotta know a little bit, like it, and have a good talking voice to teach. You, have all three." Lucky lucky boy.

He knew a couple of them, but he couldn't dance that was the issue!

The girl returned the smile and he listened what she was saying. "What else can I do anyways? I'm bad at dancing" he shook his head "And you..." he started "You seemed to really know about dancing". Definitely, he was gonna be the laughingstock today. Your logic is sound as your seat choice? That was funny. Nikolas slightly chuckled and then she asked if there was room on his couch. Umm, yes but he wanted the space for him. Now, he couldn't be rude to a girl, right? Nope, it was unacceptable. "If you really promise not to laugh at my lack of dancing" he eyed her. "I know you'll do it anyways" he shrugged. He scooted a bit so she could sit down.

Oh and after all this what was her name? "What's your name Yo! girl?" he asked. That was gonna be her nickname...Yo girl.
And then all her attention was back on Bean-Bag-Boy, an excited 'whoop' coming from her as she heard his offer and saw him shuffle over. In an instant, almost even before the space was cleared, she had scooted onto the beanbag beside him, wiggling to create a nice, personalized dent. "Lord Nikolas, the Bean-Bag-Boy." An affirmative nod. "I think it's suitable." It matched his respect for fellow students. And his tie.

Once she was all settled, she straightened her spine a little and extended her hand to him. "Charner Hope Rainbow." A slight frown tickled the sides of her mouth. "But you can just call me Arnie....Or Yo!-Girl." Didn't much matter to her. "And I won't laugh. A promise is a promise and a deal is a deal. I'd only break it if you were one of my brothers." Which thank Merlin's unwashed beard he wasn't. One finger reached out and poked the boy in the side. "It's not polite to assume people will do things when they say they won't." She wasn't the greatest on manners, but that she knew. "Plus, I'm sure you're not SO bad that you could make me break our deal." She tapped her lip in thought. "If you do, or are, and I do laugh, I'll buy you a new beanie-bag."

Heh. Was she putting up a challenge? Maybe.

With a grin, she dropped her hands into her lap and tilted her head at the boy. "And I don't know how to dance either. Just know about it. My brother has declared that I am impossible of absorbing any type of etiquette into my being. So I figured this is a good way to prove him wrong."
