He was talking about doing something that had never been done before, after all.
Taming a clan of werewolves...It was his life to live and Marilyn had nothing to say about it. So, that was that...
"Now that Benjamin is...*cough* gone, I suppose that's the beauty of it. I don't have to plan anything. For the first time in my life I can do whatever." Somewhere in the back of her mind, guilt was manifesting. Marilyn now knew that Rafe had been the one to save her from that mess...and her father was apparently dead...and with the finality that Rafe had said the piece of information, the blonde Slytherin believed him...Although, the details remained fuzzy.
It just had seemed inappropriate to ask about it...Considering things were a bit rocky between them as far as friendship went...
Rafe wouldn't to bring up the fact that they had just agreed to be honest with one another no matter what. But, he didn't want to push the issue and ultimately push her away even further. This would be the perfect opportunity to read her mind or something. There was just so much he wanted to know about her.
I think since he's out of the picture, that was kind of the idea I had in mind for you."" Rafe smiled trying to meet her eyes.
"Your safety was my top priority, but thinking more into it, it became a mission to liberate you. Two days before you came to Hogwarts he was planning on having you memories erased, but luckily we got to him in time before that became an issue...not that he had a real chance with Larentia and Randall watch--" Rafe probably said too much. Actually he knew he said too much and was completely prepared to face Marilyn's anger and more questions.
