The loud "THUD" echoed around the room startling everyone, Jory included. Looking up from his "Fantastic Beast and where to find them'' he saw Gwen standing at a table with a huge book and a puzzled expression on her face.
Jory wondered what in the world Gwen was doing with such a book.
As he got up to go talk to her, Gwen pulled out quills from her bag.
"Hi,Gwen,'' Jory said when he reached her table and seriously hoping she won't be angry at the interruption. "Er...what are you doing?''

‘congratulated’ herself, realizing that a lot of people looked at her.
Grrr… if I could only hex them, she thought.
Right, if any of those dumb first years come closer to me and start talking… ughhh! If they start making fun of me, I’m pretty sure I might end up cursing them. But this idea isn’t restricted to first years, she thought and took a seat.
Are you talking… to me?, Gwendolyn asked herself.
‘Go mind your own business…’, she started saying and looked coldly at the student standing in front of her, but them wished she hadn’t.
‘Oh… Hi Jory’, she said, biting her lip.
Stupid me! Flipping the pages of the book quickly, the second year hoped her huffie friend didn’t get upset.
‘Reading. A book about potions’, the girl started saying.
‘I think I’ll go brew a few potions in the lab’ Yeah, that lab…one of her favorite places at Hogwarts!
‘But I’m not sure which one I should pick’, she explained.
Taking a piece of parchment out of her bag, the girl started writing a few potions and her remarks about those.
