Brad looked at Alex a moment more before letting her go and stepping back, his arms fell to his side and he said nothing. He just looked at her but after a moment more he nodded accepting her apology. They'd both been in the wrong, him more than her. "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have said what I said" He tried again.
He turned to the zoo once more and wondered how their conversation had gone from good to bad. So suddenly. It shouldn't have done that. "Shall we continue?" He asked finally turning back to her. He gave her a small smile.
"Okay, look. I might be a little rude at times..even though I try not to be..but I just hope you don't take it personally." Alex sighed. This wasn't going well.
"I mean, I should have known it was just a joke.." But, he apologized again. So..this was turning out to be silly.
"Don't you think we should just forget about this and start over?" Alex looked at him, hoping he agreed with her.
"Yeah. Yeah, that definitely sounds good." Alex looked relieved as she answered his smile.
