Ellie definitely wasn't one of those people who needed an excuse to be outside. On the contrary, she needed an excuse to be inside. Even if, like now, she had no plans to do anything, being out of the castle was so much better than being in it. Especially when that woman that Ellie had recently decided to dislike was inside. Needless to say, Little Professor would be getting a letter. Not that Ellie expected him to do anything, but she thought he might like to know. Know that he was sorely missed.

But on her way out, she saw something - or rather, someone - that took her mind off of all that nonsense. Best of all, he was alone.
