She couldn't help the comment because really.. it was just satisfying sometimes to see him react to her teasing.

Teasing wasn't all bad, was it? She did tease most of her friends and they seemed okay with it. Maybe Jonathan was not a friend yet to tease? Meh. The words were out of her mouth already so... too late.

...and he was counting. If she didn't want to push things, Louisa would've laughed. Really, it was funny the way he actually counted the 'features' of their relationship. Maybe if he wasn't the snob she thought he was, they both would've become, wait for it, F. R. I. E. N. D. S.

"Well, that was... thoughtful...thanks." He wasn't going to faint or anything, right? Because Louisa CAN be nice to him if he keeps this neutral attitude.
