27. Owl
Pre-Hogwarts

The owl's large yellow eyes blinked back at the curious young boy standing outside of the owl emporium. It had been Christopher's first trip to Diagon Alley and he'd already purchased each of his books and uniform- all second hand. He released the letter clutched tightly in his hand that the very strange professor had given to him and his parents to explain about Hogwarts, magic, and the entire wizarding world. The letter said he was allowed one pet- a frog, car, rat, or owl.

As his father began walking toward him and the curious snowy owl, Christopher grinned. "He's perfect!"
