Coming in from the grounds, Dallin planned on going up to the common room. He had taken a detour down this corridor, though, maybe because he wanted to visit a professor. Probably not, though. But whatever the reason was, he was here. And just in time to have a wand come skidding toward him. It was then that he saw Adam. Dallin snorted a laugh then quickly covered his mouth with his hand; he didn't want to seem rude. Plus, he needed to talk to the guy. So it was a rather good stroke of luck that Adam had decided to throw his wand at Dallin. Leaning down, Dallin picked up the wand in front of him and walked forward to hand it to Adam. "Hey," he said with a nod. Hopefully Adam wasn't busy because Dallin was now planning on talking to him.
At first all Adam saw were a pair of feet in front of him, only a couple of inches from his wand, then he heard the snort of laughter. After regaining his balance and standing up Adam realized who it was, and gave a little smile of embarrassment. Adam took a couple of steps forward to help close the distance between him and Dallin, and took the wand with a little nod of thanks.
"My fault for paying more attention to what's outside than what's in front of me," Adam said with another little smile.
"Um...how are you?"
