The blond's eyes had slowly returned up to the ceiling, not trusting those stupid birds. All that she knew was that she'd have trouble sleeping tonight. But.. maybe the only way to work on her fear was to.. ignore it for the time being, despite how frightened she was. With a shiver, she averted her gaze from the ceiling and the flying rats and her full attention was back on Paulie. "Yeah? Same here. It's a nice house, i suppose." But Hogwarts.. She was having other thoughts on that subject.

What's new? Hm. Brooklyn shrugged. "Nothing really. How about you? Anything new happen since we last met?" She grinned at him, gripping the dirty fork a bit tighter. The ceiling? "What? Well.. I guess it's pretty." Confusion face. Had she not told him about her horrible fear of birds? Heh. Probably not. Oops. "I just um.. Don't like birds." She shivered as the word escaped her lips.

OOPS. Was she interrupting his conversation with this other girl? Maybe she should.. Leave Paulie and this girl alone? Giggle. That's an idea. She offered a smile to the younger girl, still contemplating whether she should let these two alone or listen in on their conversation so she could embarrass Paulie later. HEHE.
