Hey Allison, I read this after you posted it and couldn't comment because I couldn't think of anything once I read;
Quote:
"Because it will be much easier to kill a woman that I no longer love than one I can still see as my mother."
That is sooooooooooo sad. Poor, poor Abby! Anyway, I came back and read it again hoping to comment and I still feel so badly for Abby, I can't think.
I shall try though.

revealing the spiral staircase that had come to be the pathway to peace and comfort.
Loved that sentence.

"You think Voldemort loved Abby's mom? Is Voldemort even capable of feeling love?" Harry asked, expressing the perplexity that I had been feeling about the situation myself.
This question of Harry's is very thought provoking. Surely Tom Riddle's eye's were turned by at least a pretty face, that maybe he had a feeling of love for, or maybe a desire of love. But, never knowing or expeariancing love while he was growing up, I don't see how he would recognize love if it hit him over the head.
Great post Allison. I love it when a story makes me think.
I'll be watching for your next chapter.
