With a flurry of house elf magic, the silverware she sported was soon clean and as shiny as it should have been. She poked herself with another fork and soon there was a trail of forks and spoons and knives floating through the air, disappearing and reappearing, clean and polished as was right.
The whole process took only minutes and by the end of it Nimma stood on the end of the table closest to the staff, panting and holding a fork, ready to poke herself in the eye.
"So sorry! Nimma is a bad elf! Nimma punishes Nimma!"
India squeaked as she saw the house elf apparently named Nimma being to poke herself with the fork. "Hi Nimma," she smiled over to her. Quietly she reached her hand over - in hopes of sneaking that pesky fork out of her hand. "Please don't hurt yourself - it was a mistake love, you didn't mean to, we all love you." She was being overly nice.
Maybe some people didn't but she sure did. And maybe one or more nice person was enough. "Please don't punish yourself - punish the tarnish by telling it to simply
go away, alright? You don't deserve it." No one does.
