Let me tell you a bit about how I select shopkeepers. First of all shopkeepers need to be active members of the site. This means they need to have proved themselves involved and helpful towards new members over the course of at least a term. It is important that a shopkeeper has a strong understanding of the rules, but also a love of the RP. Their job is to be the first point of contact for new roleplaying members such as yourself.

The way to get noticed is by participating in the school and the ministry. I don't take applications because I'm sure you can imagine how many people would apply, which would be impossible to sort through. It is always best to choose those who don't expect it, and are honoured by it, rather than feeling as if they are entitled to it. Its a job and a responsibility, not just a bit of fun like a lot of people think.

If you are still interested and have shown yourself to be active and involved in the RP in a few terms time, perhaps you will be asked. As it is, new members are not asked as they are still learning the rules and how things work on Snitchseeker, and it is important that shopkeepers know their way around and are able to help new members.
