The only thing that snapped her out of her current state of fear was the call of her name. Her head whipped toward the voice, noticing the familiar face. All thoughts of birds aside, the blond beamed. It was Paulie. PAULIE. "Paulie!" She said excitedly, loosening her grip on the fork for a moment before getting up to side beside him. "You're in Gryffindor too?" BEAM. That was kind of a stupid question, but she really didn't care right now. That girl was caught up in that ceiling, wasn't she? Maybe the whole night sky-ceiling had some sort of hypnotizing power, too. Gahh. But when she seemed pleased to see him, Paulie was quite pleased, too. Aaaand she even switched seats! Good, 'cause he liked being closer. "Yep, sure am," he nodded. "I've only been sorted for, like... fifteen minutes, but I really like it." The fifteen-year-old gave a short chuckle and tilted his drink back and forth.
"So, what's new?" He turned to her as he asked and waited for her to enlighten him about her summer holiday. As an afterthought, he added, "I see you like the enchanted ceiling..?" His chin lifted as he took a glance up at the so-called moon.
