"That's right!" Violet was pleased that Chelsea remembered her. "Sage and Temperance got sorted into other houses, I was beginning to be afraid I'd be the only one in Slytherin."

Violet picked up a spoon as she answered and suddenly noticed how dingy it looked, and ... dirty, even. Miss Howard would not have approved of this. "What in Merlin's name is wrong with the dishes?!" She thought they looked even worse than that dive of a coffeehouse her Muggle uncle recited poetry in.
