India almost knew what house she would be in the minute she heard the hats song. It was crazy a singing hat - sure she'd heard of it...but she never believed it wasn't like she had singing hats, books, pencils, quills and what-not when she was in Australia. Puhlease. Some people were just a little too weird - or some inanimate objects that is.

She walked up to the stool as her name was called, and sat down. Fidgeting with her skirt. Almost the instant the little talking hat hit her head it bellowed "RAVENCLAW". Well that was easy...if not smelly. Gag.

Standing up and pinning the Ravenclaw badge on her sweater she walked over to a different table. The Slytherin table. Making friends was her game.
