Marie snuggled into Matty when he sat next to her. This was their last train ride back to school and she wanted to enjoy it. It most likely wouldn't be as enjoyable as the train ride home had started out... which ended up ending in disaster, but she was planning on this being a drama free train ride. She wasn't going to do anything to screw things up again.
"Yeah, I'm ready for the school year, I'm just not ready for it to be my last one." It was just going to seem so weird not coming back to school next year and... well, she still didn't even know what she wanted to do with her life. She was going to have to start giving some serious thought to what kind of career she wanted. Time was running out on her.
