"JAMES, CHRISTOPHER!" A voice rang out, making the first year freeze and want to run away. When he was finally able to move, he walked up to the stool with shaking legs and a bad case of the butterflies.

As the old hat was placed upon his head, Christopher squeezed his eyes shut. The hat was having a difficult time placing him.

Not Slytherin, not with your blood status. Hufflepuff would do you well- you're a fair and loyal young man. Ravenclaw would be perfect, with your intelligent mind. But the right choice is very clear. Yes..... Better be....
