"I'm Mathias," he said, figuring the boy would be the next to offer his name. The 11 year old got to work putting his trunk in the upper storage area since it seemed his stay in the compartment would be permanent, then froze as the girl mentioned Quidditch - a subject he knew pretty much nothing about. But he wasn't going to let his compartment-mates know that. No need to appear stupid on the first day - not to people he's just met. "Uh... Quidditch?" he started as he turned back around , before hearing the other boy's answer. "Er.. yeah, I haven't been paying much attention either." Oh, so there was a Scottish team? Mkay... good to know and remember for later. There was so much he needed to learn...
Aviva leaned back as both Carson and Mathias claimed to know nothing about Quiddich. Well, there's one topic down, and at least they'd never figure out that she was no more informed, "Well, good luck to the Scottish team then. Are they any good?"
Aviva smiled contently as she tried to find another topic, this wasn't going too badly so far, "How did you two do shopping? Diagon Alley is incredible, isn't it? I don't understand why my mum wouldn't let me go before. It seems perfectly safe. And utterly fascinating. Who knew there was so much...stuff out there?"
