Oh yeah. She seemed taken aback by her call. She giggled a little at her reaction. Erin felt relieved, she's now secured a compartment that actually has someone she could befriend. She took a seat in front of her by the window. Her cat took a seat at her lap then purr.
"So, hi Alex. Are you a pure witch?" she asked to end the silence at the compartment. She's a shy girl but she talks a lot sometimes. It just takes quite of getting into.
She knew she would be asked that question sometime just not so soon... she tried her best to hide her feelings about it and forced a smile
"no actually i'm half and half" "my father is the wizard" she added with a grimace remembering him
"hope it's ok with you?" she said a bit nervous
"what about you?" she asked kind of curious now
