Lexi was a force to be reckoned with after all, and those birds certainly should have known better. Alice spotted Lexi's wand slid into her hand, wondering what she was going to do before smiling brightly as Lexi handed her a beautiful gerbera daisies. "Oh my gosh they are so pretty Lexi!! Thank you!"
Alice gave Lexi another hug, her words that she was always just an owl away greatly pushing the threat of tears from running over. "Thank you Lexi! I don't know what I would have done without you," Alice whispered back.
She let go of Lexi when Lexi had pulled away from her, spotting a boy that she knew. Alice turned to look at the boy, not sure that she recognized him, but surely he went to Hogwarts.
Lexi shook her head once more as she smoothed down the front of her dress. "
I think you have always given me too much credit, Alice. But I thank you anyway," she said with a smile.
She was truly grateful to have such fabulous friends. Indeed.

He manages to get some two words between Lexi and the other girl hugging and bouncing "Babe, is this all your stuff? You havent forgotten anything ahve you?" Like-- ahem-- a certain something? Heh.
His eyes finally shifts to the other blond and does a double take. Wait... looks familiar, but different. Older? "Alice?" the Slytherin lad smiles slowly, finally recognizing the feature he remembered from his young friend. "You all set to get back to Hogwarts? Where's your stuff? I'll take it to the baggage car along with ours."
His eyes darts up momentarily when Lexi got excited and called out a Broadmoor. Tom? The late bloomer wizard? Salander cracked a grin at the younger boy. Talk about deja vu.
OH! There he was!!
Lexi broke her eye contact with Tom to beam stupidly at Salander for a moment. "
Yes, love. It's all there. Just put Ru-- nevermind. I will get Rufus in a moment. Soon as Tom gives me a hug," she said with a giggle. She was going to MAKE the boy hug her. hehehe. "
And no I didn't forget anything. That trunk is packed fuller than any other time when I have returned...I have Wasabi and Rufus... that's it." She was sure he was worrying about something he needn't be worried about. Heh. She was never letting any of the precious things he had ever given her go. NEVER.
Then... "
Sal... Alice doesn't go to Hogwarts anymore. She is leaving me all alone in that dreadful tower. I will probably have a bloody first year as a dorm mate. How terrible will THAT be?" Lexi said dramatically. Really though... no first years in her dorm, please. Really she wanted one all to herself. If that was possible. Heh.
