As Gideon paused outside the end of the train, he felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn in place just as a girl asked him a question. "Sairy...um I'm not sure," he answered truthfully looking her over better. "Ma name is Gideon," he introduced out of politeness and just in case that helped her answer her question. "Gideon Gert of Gryffindor."
Selina smiled at the boy who did not look much older than herself. So he was in Gyrffindor. No wonder why he looked so familiar, but she was curious as to why she was not acquainted with him. Most people in her house she knew by first name and if she didn't she knew their faces without a shadow of doubt. Why then was she so fuzzy on his existence?
"Nice to meet you Gideon. I'm Selina Skylar." She fumbled with the end of her shirt and pressed on,
"Sorry about this, I feel really, really awful but I've never really seen you before. You've been at Hogwarts since first year?"
Way to go Selina. Now a kid that she had just met was going to hate her because she could barely remember his existence. That was a little brutal... but it was true.
