He usually just threw on the nearest ones and never looked twice, they were black with white tips, a slightly off white from all the walking, running, jumping about and other random stuff he'd been doing. He'd only realized he was wearing such dark colors that matched his dark brown, almost black, messy hair.
"Whaaa?" he said as he brought his attention back to the conversation, he must have zoned out for a while because all he heard was Nessie saying something about go together. "Sure" he said, "but I'm controlling the broom, I got the skills" he said, grinning proudly, that was one thing he could always get right. Flying.
Why was this so Awkward? It never used to be like this between them, but then boom out of nowhere. It was just awkward for them. Every time they saw each other it was Akward! Akward! Akward! She noticed he was looking at his shoes.
"Nice shoes " she said now looking at them too. She wondered if he had made his choice yet, but now certainly wasn't the time to ask. It was awkward enough between them.
So he wasn't listening to her now was he. This was when he got irritating. He should learn to get a better attention span, she thought to her self. Skills? Ummm what skills. She had never seen Tyler fly before, but surely if he was good he would have been in the quidditch team wouldn't he.
"Whatever, let's just go on" as long as she went on the ride she was happy. She didn't really care who sat where.
She put Puffles, which was in his bag somewhere safe while she was on the ride. She walked onto the ride making sure Tyler followed. She then waited for him so he could choose the right broom. He wanted to be the
controller after all. Didn't he? She then took a strand of her ranga hair and started twirling it in her hand.
