Shortly after Prof. Quirrell was brought to the hospital wing Justin was taken to the headmaster's office. He was extremely nervous and at the same time very disappointed in himself for having lost control. He had been trying to practice his technique for controlling his powers for a few weeks, but apparently to no avail. There he stood in front of Professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape. All of them staring at him, just staring, none of them said a word for what seemed to Justin like an eternity. Finally after a few minutes Dumbledore began to speak.

" We have a serious problem here. We can't fairly judge this situation, being that there is exstrainious circumstances in this case. Perhaps you can tell us what led to your attack on Prof.Quirrell, Justin? " Said Dumbledore as he paced the floor stroking his long silver beard.

" Well, Sir, first I extend my deepest regrets. I didn't mean for anything to happen. You see, Roberta Thornhust and myself were having a conversation as we walked into the classroom and sat down. Prof. Quirrell came out of his office just before the lesson was to start and had seen us talking and he immediately singled us out. He began to yell at us in front of everyone and had suggested that Bertie and I fancied each other. Bertie was just telling me that she thought that the Professor had it in for her. I was just giving her advice when he stepped out of his office. Bertie started crying and ran for it. I was mortified and became angry, angrier than I've ever felt and the next thing I know Prof. Quirrell was on the floor. I don't even remember thinking anything. It just happened. " explained Justin.
