Oh good, so Vashti had seen this girl before. Probably during the OWLs too since they were in the same year. Strange that they hadn't actually met until now though. "Pleasure to meet you, Dani," she replied with a smile, extending a polite hand to her. "I'm Vashti."

She nodded. "Yeah, I have." For the most part, anyway. More good than bad had happened this summer, she supposed. "How about you?" Hopefully Dani had had a good summer too. And then - the OWLs. Vashti grinned. "Merlin, yes, and I'm so glad they're over. And we've still got another year until we have to really worry about the NEWTs." Which was great. Vashti didn't think she could handle going from studying for the OWLs to the NEWTs the very next year. It'd drive her insane. "Did you do well on them?"
